Angels All Around Us

Angels are all around us,
We just need to be aware.
They may be children in the park,
Or may be a grandmother with silver hair.

Angels can be just anyone,
Whoever is sent to us.
After all they are angelic beings,
Sent to us as guests.

They're sent to help protect us,
And see that all goes well,
When we have a certain task to do,
That sometimes just might fail.

There may be angels walking with you,
When you're going down a dim lit street,
Or could be something in your path,
That makes you stumble on your feet.

We may not always see them,
But they are there for sure.
It can be a perfect stranger,
Or someone very dear.

We almost always think of angels,
As someone in the spirit,
But we have guardian angels,
Always very near us.

Haven't you seen or heard of happenings,
And wondered how they did survive,
Well, the guardian angels around us,
Are sent sometimes to protect our lives.

There have been many mysteries,
Where a child or someone has survived,
Through some tragic accident,
Some way was kept alive.

I like to think in the ways God works,
Ways we don't understand,
But through it all, the tears and scars,
He's there to hold our hand.

Why is it so hard to believe,
That miracles still exist?
It's possible for all things to be,
When God we don't resist.

He has to have us trust Him,
He is the One who holds our hands,
We just go along and trust Him,
While He works out all the plans.

My days would all be wasted,
If I just stumbled along.
From day to day I still will trust,
As I sing out my song.

Jesus loves me this I know,
He'll see me safely to that Golden Shore.
I will trust His Everlasting Arms,
And face this life no more.

If we had no faith to guide us,
What would this old life be?
Nothing to look forward to,
Until His Face we'd see.

There may be danger behind a tree,
A shadow out of sight,
But we'll be safe from harm you see,
All things will be all right.

Just always know though danger lurks,
There's safety in the dark,
As long as we hold to Him,
While walking through the park.
