I Will Be Faithful

I will always be faithful,
And serve you as I should.
I'll be loyal to you in service,
And speak only as a servant should.

With all your wisdom and guidance,
I've managed to forget,
The times I lived in poverty,
When all my needs you met.

I now have no more fear,
Of being still in need.
I'll do my job as a servant,
And try to show no greed.

I'll show kindness to all others,
As you have shown to me.
I'll set the right example,
For any found in need.

Kindness is what I'll share,
And hope to those I meet,
To make their lives a blessing,
Far beyond belief.

Faithful to your Master,
And faithful to your friends,
Should be the way for all,
Until life's very end.

Now we are friends as well,
The way it should always be,
Friends to all we know,
And smiles to all we see.

Just love and kindness,
Can change one's attitude,
Rude remarks and sad expressions,
Can only make you blue.

It is so well known,
If we show friendship to others,
Our smile and attitude,
Will also affect our brothers.

So if you know your Master,
You know what He would do,
So do those things that mean the most,
And you will be happy too.

As a sad day without sunshine,
Can dampen your spirit making you blue,
It also happens when we hold back,
The things we know to do.

We are blessed to have a place,
Where we can come and go,
And enjoy the fellowship
With all the friends we know.
