Changing Times

Each day that passes,
Brings changes as we live,
Four Seasons every year,
And new wonders each one gives.

Our children, they grow older,
And we fail to see,
The days are passing swiftly,
As well for you and me.

The days get longer during Summer,
And the heat's so hard to bear,
But then another change will come,
And bring us cooler air.

Only by the Grace of God,
Are we able to adjust,
To all the changes in our lives,
By His Grace we can and must.

He carefully planned this world,
To work in harmony with man,
If we so choose to trust in Him,
And walk by His command.

Why does the world seem cold,
And indifferent to His will?
Because they've never repented,
So their hearts can heal.

As Seasons change so do we,
Flowers die and trees lose leaves,
Bears hibernate through Winter months,
And Spiders are starting to weave.

I like to sit all cozy in the Winter,
And count my blessings one by one,
But they are far too many,
I could never get it done.

The world is becoming,
More and more sinful day by day.
Everyone wants things done differently,
Other than God's way.

The clock is ticking as we waste away,
The blessings that are meant for us,
Because of selfishness and greed,
And manly sinful lust.

I often think and pray about,
The things I've said and done.
I pray God forgives me for those things,
Knowing when I've hurt someone.

Don't let the clock tick too long,
Before you say I'm sorry.
Don't wait too long to say I love You,
Don't wait until tomorrow.
