Christmas Love

My prayer for you this Christmas
Softly whispered in my heart,
Is for all that's sweet and beautiful,
The love of God imparts.

I pray you will have hope and peace,
And every day feels blessed,
And may you know so near of heart,
Each one you care for best.

And while you look about this day
At the storms on every side,
Longing for the peace
You wish could e'er abide.

I have this little message
I would really like to send,
A little loving for the heart
Of my very treasured friend.

To let you know I see the peace
Kept deep inside your heart,
The joy this world is crying for
In the loving you impart.

You've found the Cross of Jesus
The peace beyond compare,
To make other's lives more beautiful
With the kindness that you share.

You inspire each heart you touch
With the loveliness of heaven,
You give, as you believe-
In all the beauty you are given.

You glow forth with His Love
As you give your life away,
Real Christmas is your spirit
God shines in you today.

You'll always be so treasured
For the very way you live,
In every thought at Christmas,
My love to you I give.

My prayer of joy for you
Is ever tender, true,
And from deep within my heart,
Because it is for you.
