The Dream Rides On The Storm
So much of you is hid in me
A oneness, but a wisp apart,
Each heart beat drumming out of all
That glows within our pounding heart.

There's nothing lost 'tween me and thee
And nought that hinders us to be,
Nothing flanked, to drag us back
We are, we ride, eternally.

In lasting hope, 'pon spirit wings
Our sight, desire, uplifted high,
To faith, from where our strength shall lie.
And where our souls shall never die.

Yes, we will ride, as ones ungrieved,
In all we are, that will not cry,
Our hearts, our souls forever made
To prance above, beyond the sky.

So, ride with me, let spirit soar
Ride onward, 'cross unending space,
We'll gallop long, with all our might,
And prance unto eternal grace.

Come, ride and ride, for we are one,
Compelled by such that never fades,
To ride and ride 'cross mountain glade,
Where love and peace and joy cascade.

Borne on the wind, the Spirit wind
Of life we share, that is enough,
Reflected by the way we care,
Across the bridge, across the gulf.

Held to the source, unending love,
Our journey, forward in the light,
Not on our might, but Spirit life,
We gallop upward, in our flight.

To canter wildly in time's dream,
No matter raging storm, beneath,
As trusted friends in God's delight,
In Him, in love, we ride on free.

"Oh, that we could always see
The power of eternity
Closing in upon this world
Power coming from above
Preparing for the One we love
Where trusting hearts will jump with glee
As those in bondage are set free"
