Gentle
Waters
The
wheel
it
turns,
it
turns
and
turns
Quite
softly,
it
is
hushed,
A
little
moan,
a
little
flow-
With
only
gentle
love.
Crooning,
murmuring
Masterful,
it
creaks,
Water
splashing,
cogs
enmeshing-
Strong
and
very
meek.
The
wheel
it
turns,
it
gathers
speed,
The
little
creek,
it
grew,
The
flow
picks
up
a
pace-
The
cogs
turn
faster
too.
Flowing
wider,
deeper,
stronger
The
little
river
churns,
Filling
deeper,
filling
wider-
The
paddles
ever
turn.
Turning,
turning,
power
burning,
Making
good
things
there,
Grain
is
grinding,
flour
producing-
Meals
to
prepare.
The
wheel
it
turns,
time's
passing
by,
Still
placid,
flows
the
stream,
Gently
flowing,
always
flowing-
With
waterwheel,
a
team.
Gentle
waters
keep
it
turning
Steady
is
the
pace,
Steady,
rhythmic,
round
and
round-
Set
in
the
perfect
place.
The
wheel
it
turns,
just
as
it's
bid,
It
turns
in
peaceful
love,
God
sends
the
gentle
water-
From
Him
it
always
comes.
Gentle,
gentle,
love
it
flows,
To
power
hearts
each
day,
Flowing
under,
over,
hour
by
hour-
His
slipstream
is
the
way.
The
wheel,
it
turns,
it
never
stops
God's
gentle
waters
come,
Running
to
eternity-
The
river
of
His
love.
Soft
whispers
from
Derry's
Heart
