Happy St. Pat's Day

Today is not the day for laying low
There's too much gratitude,
Rise up in celebration
To bless the isle of emerald green.

Bring out the happy fiddle
We'll dance the hours away,
Don the wearin 'o' the green
For it's time to seize the day.

Bring out the ones you love
And all that you adore,
Thank the Father for His goodness
His blessing to us all.

The sun above is shining warm
And the grass be sweet beneath,
Toss all your troubles to the wind
And all your heart-aches cease.

Go find a pretty shamrock green
And twirl the petals three,
Glorify the triune God
And praise His love for Thee.

The streams, the woods, the calling birds
Are celebrating too,
And as you turn your face on high
God's joy will rain on you.
