Hearts Entwined

When two hearts are entwined,
In a love as sweet as ours,
There is no fear of losing it,
We share our special love hour after hour.

We will cling together like a vine,
In a garden of grapes so sweet,
And wait for the time for harvest,
Like a sweet wine to keep.

Never thinking of ever being alone,
Just knowing you'll always be there.
I'll always have you in my heart,
You'll be with me everywhere.

I don't want to even think of being away,
Not even for a mile.
My heart would break in two,
If we'd be separated even for a while.

It would be like living alone,
In a world without a friend,
Or separated from the world,
A world that knew no end.

I dream of you when I'm sleeping,
I think of you when I'm awake.
Our love's more wonderful than anything,
Nothing could ever take its place.

Although I know you love me,
It's Valentines Day, I ask you to be mine,
I want the world to see,
How bright our love does shine.

There is no replacement for someone like you,
You are the only one that will ever be,
You are to me just perfect the way you are,
No fault in you can I see.

So a new year starts just as it should,
With hearts and roses and love.
And a pure and whole relationship,
As pure as a snow white dove.

Hold me close and never let me go,
And we will have the beauty of life.
As a red, red, rose blooming,
In a relationship as husband and wife.
