Kitty Heaven

Rising through God's blue skies on a cloud,
She knows she's on her way to,
This side of Heaven called Rainbow Bridge,
Remembering she loves you.

She sits near a lovely rose trellis,
Sad and wide eyed just knowing,
You miss her as much as she does you,
Watching all your tears flowing.

How she longs for you to hold her one,
More time caressing her close,
Looking into her eyes loving and,
Kissing her sweet little nose.

She hears you telling her a Goodbye,
Yet love never really dies,
It lives on in Kitty Heaven and,
Is waiting for you in surprise.

She may be absent from your life but,
Never absent from your heart,
If you will look beyond the Rainbow,
You'll find her love will impart.

She wants you to know she didn't have,
To suffer, she's waiting for,
You and when you join her you both will,
Cross Rainbow Bridge and adore.

She's very young again healthy and,
Whole, except for missing your,
Love you gave her but now please give to,
Another from your heart's door.

Just this side of Heaven where puppies,
And kitties live peacefully,
Among gentle meadows and hills they,
Dwell healthy and happily.

They want for nothing except there's an,
Emptiness for their human,
Loves who light up indescribable,
Joy since their time began.

And we would not find peace and solace,
If we had not shared our love,
With one of God's precious puppies or,
Kitties who're with Him Above.

Who among us would not have comfort,
Believing this place exists?
I surely do knowing one day I'll,
Give my sweet Kitty a kiss.
