Leadership

Our Country relies on Leadership,
To keep us strong and free.
It's the peoples right to vote,
For these freedoms to be.

We pray and then we vote,
That God will show the way,
For if we fail to follow Him,
Freedom will fail someday.

Our Presidents serve a Four Year Term,
And can be elected a Second Term.
To be sure we elect the right one,
Be filled with much concern.

This day at the Capitol,
Was President Bush's last day,
To lead our Country with his Service,
As he had served it in his way.

We don't always feel that all decisions,
Were what we saw in sight,
But in Accordance to God's Word,
We respect the Office in its rights.

The Capitol stands for Leadership,
And Strength and Fairness to all,
The Eagle is an Emblem,
Of all who stand strong and tall.

The piercing of the eyes,
And the feet and powerful claws,
Shows our love for Peace and Equality,
For those who obey her Laws.

A land known as a Christian Nation,
With Freedom of Speech and Religion.
We can speak our minds and beliefs,
Without the fear of persecution.

Times are now changing for America,
Because of the breaking of God's Laws.
Abortions of babies and killings,
And removing God from public halls.

We will pay the price for our neglect,
When someday we will say,
The only hope for America,
Is living it God's Way.

When next Election comes around,
Just pray before you vote.
For who we send to the White House,
Will only bring us hope.

We can't just pray for Leadership,
And expect it all to be,
The very one that God has sent,
To keep us strong and free.
