Merry Christmas

A heavy snow has fallen,
Santa gathers his Reindeer,
Pockets stuffed and basket full,
He brings Christmas Cheer.

Ho Ho Ho rings out in the air,
Old Santa is filled with glee,
He knows boys and girls are,
Waiting, a glimpse of him to see.

Mrs. Santa has fed the Elves,
They are packing the toys just right,
Whistling as they work real hard,
Making sure all is ready for this night.

The Reindeer have been resting,
They have a very long flight,
Excited for they get to see,
The world's children tonight.

Ho Ho Ho they hear Santa keep saying,
He has to get it just right you know,
Everywhere the sleigh flies o'er,
St. Nick's voice through the air will flow.

A Cardinal sits atop Santa's pack,
Singing his sweet sweet song,
All the animals round the world,
Know Santa will soon be along.

Children getting ready for bed,
Excitement at the highest peak,
Snuggling beneath warm covers,
Silent, not a word do they speak.

Dreams come to take them away,
Sugar Plums and Candy Canes,
Dance around in their dreams,
Beside Baby Dolls and Tootin' Trains.

Mom and Dad settle down for the night,
Glad the children are asleep,
Leave treats for Kris Kringle and Reindeer,
Into bed they finally leap.

Quietness covers the land,
As darkness fastly closes in,
Santa is ready for his ride,
Let's go and let the trip begin.

All across the world he flies,
Reindeer pull the laden sleigh,
Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas,
He calls out along the way.

Happy Holidays from the North Pole,
A Joyous Merry Christmas to you,
May peace and happiness forever reign,
Throughout the New Year too.
