The Beauty In
Mothers
A Mother's beauty
is not in her
face,
Or in the way
she walks.
A Mother's beauty
is in her lovely
ways,
And the sweetness
of her talk.

I saw my wife
standing in the
garden,
On such a lovely
sunny day.
I thought to myself
as she stood there,
She is as lovely
as our first date.

This warm and
sunny day,
Brought out her
beauty more,
For it reminded
me of the day
we wed,
As she stood in
front of the gazebo
door.

For the gazebo
was a floral picture,
It was in shades
of every color,
I thought how
blessed to be,
The one that she
adored.

Our children show
they love her,
In every thing
they do,
Because they want
to show her,
No Mother's as
special as you.

A Mother should
be honored every
day,
We give gifts
and come from
miles away,
To see that smile
it always brings,
To be with her
on Mother's day.

I sometime think
of Mothers,
As angels sent
from God.
They're wife,
best friend, doctor
and nurse,
They're there
for every job.

They deserve the
best that we can
give them,
Not in material
things alone,
But in everything
she does for us,
In making the
perfect home.

There's nothing
like a home coming,
To bring a family
close,
To share changes
since last seen,
And how the children
have grown.

There's nothing
more beautiful
than a Mother's
face,
That has stood
through weathered
years,
With love bestowed
on her family,
But also many
tears.

Home is where
the heart is,
A heart that's
filled with love,
And a family of
unity and caring,
From the Father
up above.

Daily count your
blessings,
And be thankful
for your Mom,
For a home is
lacking something,
Without a Mother's
love.
