Mushroom
Boy
They
call
me
the
Mushroom
Boy,
Living
deep
into
the
forest.
I
like
the
rain
as
it
comes
down,
Especially
when
raining
hardest.

It
makes
the
mushrooms
grow,
Along
with
much
humidity.
There
are
mushrooms
all
around,
As
far
as
you
can
see.

I'm
just
a
tiny
boy,
With
a
flower
to
keep
me
dry.
I'll
stay
up
under
it,
Until
I
see
blue
sky.

There
are
others
living
in
the
forest,
But
much
bigger
than
me,
So
I
keep
myself
out
of
sight,
By
hiding
behind
the
trees.

It's
not
that
they
would
harm
me,
But
I
am
just
so
small,
They
may
not
see
me
on
the
ground,
Or
hear
my
small
voice
call.

I'm
happy
here
among
the
trees,
With
flowers
blooming
everywhere,
Just
enjoying
nature
as
it
is,
And
having
not
a
care.

I
sleep
among
the
colored
leaves,
With
blue
skies
up
above.
What
else
could
one
ask
for,
Having
everything
I
love.

The
birds
sing
so
lovely,
At
night
they
put
me
right
to
sleep,
You
can
hear
their
singing
far
away,
From
in
the
forest
deep.

I
never
do
get
lonesome,
There's
too
much
around
to
see,
Like
rabbits,
squirrels
and
toad
frogs,
They're
all
good
friends
to
me.

I
walk
among
the
trees,
And
pick
berries
as
I
go.
I
eat
a
lot
of
mushrooms,
As
I
feel
you
surely
know.

As
soon
as
the
sun
comes
up,
The
forest
is
so
bright,
And
then
my
day
begins,
Just
enjoying
life.

The
birds
sing
their
lovely
songs,
And
frogs
are
hopping
all
around,
And
mushrooms
fresh
and
white,
Popping
through
the
ground.

I
must
enjoy
my
life,
And
all
that
nature
offers
me,
Happiness
beyond
belief,
And
all
of
this
is
free.

So
only
smile
at
little
things,
That
seem
to
ruin
your
day,
For
it
won't
stay
for
long,
And
it
will
go
away.
