My Love

You are my priceless rose,
In a garden so floral bright,
Slowly opening your petals,
That show your glowing light.

In my heart you are my light,
And will forever be,
You brighten up my days with love,
You're the only one for me.

After a drought that wilts the garden,
Rain falls and brings flowers back to life,
As does the sight of you, revives my heart,
Just seeing you close by.

And memories of the way you walk,
As you walk along beside,
Makes me Oh so grateful,
To have you in my life.

My days seem almost perfect,
When I share them all with you,
The days never are long enough,
When it's only just us two.

We understand each other,
And share our thoughts and dreams,
Each day that we're together,
Gets only sweeter it seems.

We're blessed to have each other,
To share our life and love,
I'm so thankful to the Father,
For sending you,
From His blessings up above.

As we grow older,
It will be sweeter than before,
The life we share with each other,
Will never become a bore.

As the sun sets in the evening,
And the moon begins to rise,
I'll be forever grateful,
As I look into your eyes.

How lonely and sad a day can be,
When alone in all you do,
But having such a love as yours,
Is satisfying to you.

Life will get dearer as the years fly by,
We'll have so much more to share,
And all the memories that we've built up,
Brings back the love and care.

So many fail to see their blessings,
Until the years are gone,
But I'll remember all those times,
That we have spent alone.

How we stood side by side,
And shared the good and bad,
Of all the things we've shared with each other,
And everything we had.

You are my rose so lovely,
And truly blessed are we,
To have the chance to share our lives,
Happy we'll always be.
