Oh What A Savior

It was the third day in the tomb,
And Jesus rose as He had said,
The grave couldn't hold Him,
He rose up from the dead.

Our Savior is alive today,
He conquered death hell and the grave,
For Christ fulfilled the plan of God,
When for you and me His Life He gave.

We call this special day, Easter Sunday,
We celebrate in many ways,
And dress in our finest clothes,
To Honor Christ on this Holy Day.

We just want to give our best,
When honoring our King,
To give that time with special meaning,
By even the songs we sing.

It's wonderful as we dwell on Jesus,
And the Power He has to set us free,
How He willingly gave His Life,
Being nailed upon that tree.

He died alone as He gave His Life,
For God could not look upon sin,
He turned His Back upon my Lord,
For the debt of sin had not yet been.

We enjoy the songs we sing at Easter,
The Lilly of the Valley The Bright and Morning Star,
But we can be with Jesus,
No matter where you are.

You are always welcome in His House,
Or walking down a narrow road,
He hears our every prayer,
He is everywhere we go.

When I lie down to sleep at night,
I always feel secure,
For I can feel His Presence,
In all things I endure.

No need for Me to fear the dark,
Or what man shall do to me.
I know I have a Loving Savior,
That, He shall always be.

It will soon be Easter now,
And flowers will be blooming everywhere,
Narcissus and Lilies and Tulips,
A world of beauty we'll share.

I love the smell of fresh green grass,
And the breezes Spring will bring,
The smell of fresh Spring rain,
And the songs that birds do sing.

What A wonderful Savior,
What a wonderful King,
With all the good and sweet things
Into our life He brings.

We are showered with blessings,
More than we can count,
All because our Loving Savior,
Gives us ample amount.
