Our Town Saloon

In our little Town we have our own saloon,
But not what most people think of one.
We have a gathering place for parties,
And a place to have some fun.

We serve good home made punch,
And cookies and cakes galore,
We share our saloon for weddings,
And for so much more.

We believe in having fun,
But only when it's clean,
In our saloon we never get unruly,
No one ever does get mean.

So don't let the name saloon,
Cause you to think,
That Our Town Saloon,
Is a place to get strong drink.

We sometime have a little dance,
In the garden just out front,
But never do we serve strong drink,
That may get someone drunk.

We're law abiding citizens,
And love our neighborhood,
Our friends all love each other,
As much as anyone could.

They visit and we chat,
We share with those in need,
We're just one bunch of happy people,
And we check on our elderly.

If you're ever down our way,
Just stop by for a visit,
We'll treat you well as we know how,
We're never all that busy.

We laugh and sing and have good times,
We don't let age get us down,
We have so much fun at home,
We're never seen in Town.

We grow flowers around the garden,
They make the place so bright,
I never could be more happy,
Than I am this very night.

No fussing and feuding goes on here,
I'm just where I want to be.
A peaceful place to retire in,
With friends and family.

We like to sit on the balcony,
When it is nice and cool,
We never miss that kind of thing,
Like having a swimming pool.

We talk about the day just spent,
And how much fun it was.
We never talk about those things,
Or what problems they might cause.

We're just a care free people,
That wants to live their lives,
Without the worry or headaches,
Of all that City life.
