The Poinsettia Angel

She's The Beautiful Christmas Angel,
The Poinsettia Angel,
Doing the Lord's Will by blessing children,
And Ringing God's Christmas Bell.

A Christmas Angel's adored by all,
Children especially,
And thereby once upon a time there,
Came one Sweet Angel lovely.

There is no better way to adorn,
Christ's Birthday than with flowers,
As beautiful as the "Flame Leaf" in,
A grand color that showers.

A Poinsettia looks exquisite,
In its bright Red hue or White,
And Pink, favored by many names as,
A Christmas Blessing on sight.

The Red Poinsettia beautiful,
Is now known as the "Flower,
Of the Holy Night" of miracles,
Beaming Brilliance overpowering.

These star shaped bracts are thus believed,
To symbolize the Bright Star,
Of Bethlehem blossoming beauty,
To Glorify Christ's Blessed Hour.

And when Christmas is round the corner,
Angels virtually appear,
Everywhere in the air filling it,
With festivities quite dear.

O she heard a child grieving because,
She had no flowers to take,
To the Manger of Nativity,
Thereby helping her partake.

As she stood there weeping The,
Poinsettia Angel said,
"Lovely child weep no more pull weeds and,
On the Altar place by His Head."

The little girl arose doing as,
The Angel had told her to,
But her heart was sad not having a,
Gift for The Babe Born anew.

With all eyes upon her, she placed the,
Weeds by The Baby right there,
Bowing her head giving Him Thanks and,
Giving her love in a prayer.

O they immediately transformed,
Into a whorl of Brilliant Scarlet,
Flowers at the top loving Jesus,
And all there will never forget.

The Poinsettia Angel spoke saying,
"Any Gift given to Jesus,
Humbly with love means so much because,
It comes from your heart to bless.

Holding Poinsettias in her hand,
She's Wishing you a Lovely,
Grand Poinsettia Christmas Blooming,
Joy, Peace and Love most Holy.
