Rainbow Parrot

Beauty follows this Rainbow Parrot,
As I call him yet his name,
Is King Parrot, a rainforest Bird,
Whom God has given much fame.

The male Australian King Parrots are,
The only ones with a red head,
And they're normally in pairs and the,
Demand for them is wide spread.

This King Parrot is incredibly,
Beautiful, happy and quite,
Gentle in Nature with colorful,
Majestic plumage in sight.

The distinct colors of this Parrot,
Ensures that he will not go,
Unnoticed for he's red, green and blue,
Like colors in God's Rainbow.

He has a red head and neck, dark blue,
Back and rump, dark green wings each,
Sporting an unusually long tail,
And a call that will just screech.

He's one gorgeous Rainbow Parrot all,
In all having endless skills,
Colorful in every aspect of,
His own repertoire that thrills.

Nodding his head up and down being,
Curious in big surprise,
He engages in what he sees with,
Excitement flashing in eyes.

His pleasant and playful nature too,
Makes him an excellent choice,
As a companion Parrot and good,
Pet getting to know his voice.

A harsh screech is for a warning or,
Putting across a distance,
And the melodious bell-like song,
Means his content existence.

He has his calling voice when he wants,
Attention copying sound,
And words repeated slowly to him,
Bonding with the one around.

He loves all fruits, apples, apricots,
Figs before ripe, and the fruit,
Of White Cedar trees, so it's not good,
Feeding people food to suit.

This Rainbow Parrot is delightful,
Coming out so happily,
Talking in a soft voice or using,
His mimicking ability.
