Romantic Dream

As I sit here in the front of the fire place,
Just thinking about you,
Remembering times we spent just sitting here,
Waiting for our dreams to come true.

Never have I ever been so happy,
As when we were in each others arms,
I always felt so safe with you,
You were like my lucky charm.

Happiness always came to me,
When I knew you'd be around,
For never have I felt such love,
When I knew true love I'd found.

The fireplace with it's glowing embers,
Made the room light up as in a dream,
Just knowing how we had a special love,
Shedding light to the tips of the evergreen leaves.

I always knew you'd come along,
Just didn't know where or when,
But now we have each other's love to cling to,
Over time we'll always win.

I can't wait until you're home with me,
The days seem terribly long,
But then I'll have my dreams to hold on to,
Knowing our hearts are true and strong,

Tiny sparkles from the burning wood,
Like stars up in the sky,
I can feel the warmth of you,
Alone, just you and I.

Each day as I walk among the trees,
And the birds are singing cheerfully,
I say to myself I know just how they feel,
For my heart feels just as free.

I feel as though I'm a happy bird,
Sitting high up in the tree,
Singing my heart out loud and clear,
Until you come for me.

Our love will only grow stronger,
Each day that we're apart,
But each day is like eternity,
Although you're never absent from my heart.

The wait will be worth it all,
And we will be together,
Time might seem slow to pass,
At times slowly as as a drifting feather.

But try to think about our future,
Not the wait that we've endured,
But a life with home and family,
And lonely hearts all cured.
