Secret Passages

I sat, but there
Now in my mind, walked in
The secret passages, confined only by
The un-walled avenues of time...

I walked, with musing thought,
The wind soft, upon my face,
My hands free, sometimes at my side,
Sometimes lifted to the sky...

My mind walked 'pon pathway sweet,
Soft, of carpet petals, fragrant,
Scuttling in the wind,
I breathed it in...

The prettiness, pungent,
The gentle pastel color
Floating to and fro,
Not knowing where to go...

It didn't matter, not much mattered
Than here, within my mind to know,
For I felt held, secure
In this journey, soft, alone.

Yet not, for in the moonbeams on the pond
The starlight high above,
I was complete
In this, a secret place of peace.

I felt the energy, new life
Throbbing through my veins
From beyond the walls of time,
I knew from whence it came...

As, looking, I could see,
I didn't need to move, to find,
For I understood the secret now,
Down the un-walled corridor Divine...

I could see where love was found.
I saw the face of Jesus there.
He was whispering, 'I died,
I bore it all, for you I cared...

Rise, walk the secret passages of time,
I bring you home,
I walk with you, there is no fear-
All mysteries, I know...'
