Silly Mr.
Snowman
Mr. Snowman
you make me
smile,
When I see
your big
orange nose,
It makes me
wonder if by
chance,
It ever does
feel cold.

The kids in
this
neighborhood,
Are all so
glad to see,
When North
winds begin to
blow,
And snow
becomes real
deep.

We love that
silly hat you
wear,
A little one
sided and
worn,
But that's
okay Mr.
Snowman,
It can still
keep you warm.

That beaded
band really
does look
nice,
Even if the
hat is old.
It gives it a
warming look,
Although we
know you're
cold.

You have that
jolly look,
We all look
forward to,
The Holidays
just wouldn't
be right,
It wouldn't be
fun without
you.

No one wants
to see a
frowning face,
When there is
so much we can
do,
Skating on the
pond covered
with ice,
And sledding
down hills
too.

If we get
tired of
playing,
We go to Mom's
you see.
She always has
a snack for
us,
And always
good hot tea.

She never
scolds us,
If we track in
with snowy
feet.
She knows the
fun we have,
And that to
her is just a
treat.

School turned
out because of
ice,
And danger on
the roads,
But I didn't
mind at all,
When all the
School doors
closed.

I have too
much to keep
me busy,
And things I
want to do,
What we'll do
tomorrow,
I have not a
clue.

I'm sure we'll
dream up
something,
Fun and
something new,
There's no
limit in the
Winter,
The things a
kid can do.
