Snowflakes
'Twas just a little snowflake
Pretty, soft and new,
Perfect in design, unique,
What then can it do.

Small, of common birth
Among a world of flakes,
Whirling in a stormy night
Caught in a certain place.

Displaying beauty on life's stage,
Captured in this special time,
Made only for this moment-
None other of its kind.

Beautiful in form, delight
Softly does it fall,
So very softly gives away
Self, so very small.

Settles down in softness
Disappears from view,
Complete now in its calling
Done all that it could do.

Made just for this purpose-
Beauty so unseen,
Made by The Creator,
Just as it needs to be.

For the Season, the New Year
Dance now in the glow,
Whirl and twirl His beauty
The love He'd want to show.

Spin within the many
Displaying gentle love,
God will see you, love you
Pretty little One.
